After having 3 children I hated the way my tummy looked! I had constant pain from my muscle separation and a hernia. I had a consultation with Alister platt at spire in hull. As soon as I met him I knew I would be in good hands! I am so glad I decided to go ahead and have the procedure.I am thrilled with my results. I can’t praise my surgeon enough He gave me realistic expectations about my procedure and what to expect. I am currently 3 weeks post op and the recovery so far has been great with little pain and discomfort. The hospital was spotless and all the staff at spire in hull were lovely! They really did look after me! Thankyou so much!!!

After years of being unhappy with my breasts, particularly the shape, and a long time researching different options and surgeons I finally went to see Mr Platt at the Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. Upon meeting him he instantly put me at ease, listened to me, did not rush me, and was very informative and honest about my options and what could be achieved. He gave me lots of information to read over at home and even gave me his email address in case I had more questions after the appointment. I went away knowing I had picked a good, ethical surgeon and was in safe hands! After weighing everything up I decided I wanted to go ahead with the surgery and so went back again to see Mr Platt to decide upon an implant size and type - again he listened to what I wanted and was honest with me about what could realistically be achieved. The day of my surgery came and Mr Platt again made me feel at ease - he has such a kind gentle manner and is so reassuring. The nursing and anaesthetics teams were also amazing at the Spire hospital. The surgery went really well with no complications and I was discharged the same day. I am now 2 weeks post surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results - they have far exceeded my expectations! The incision scars are so small and neat, despite me having fairly large implants, and they are the perfect shape and size for my frame and exactly what I wanted! I cannot praise Mr Platt enough, he has given me confidence I have never had before and I can genuinely say I am happy in my body now. Thank you Mr Platt you are amazing!

Dr Platt is very polite and great surgeon. He doesn’t rush you into anything. I had breast augmentation 23 dec 21 and stayed over night but left 0930 the next day. All the care I received was fantastic, would highly recommend. My scars are neat and I have had no issues. I am now 4.5 weeks post op and have nearly resumes to full activity’s . I didn’t require any pain relief after day 2. And that was only paracetamol.

Firstly, I spent an age researching different surgeons. having had surgery before, I know how important a great surgeon is. The sheer number of 5* reviews for Mr Platt convinced me to have an initial consultation and then on meeting him, it was a no brainer that I would continue forwards and have the surgery undertaken by him. Mr Platt was really clear on what could and could not be achieved and after surgery, this has been exactly the case. The lower amount of fat that I have accumulated over the years has all been removed and with the the addition of a small amount of liposuction at each side of my hips, I have a natural curve once again. I am so happy with the result. Mostly though, I am really pleased that exactly what was promised has been delivered. I've read so many reviews where expectation did not meet reality across all the researching I've done. I was in hospital less than 24 hours and the drains attached to me were nearly empty when removed. My scar is extremely neat and I am healing very well indeed. It is now ten weeks post surgery and I am delighted with the results even though I am definitely still in the recovery stage. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Platt and am really glad I chose him to carry out my surgery.
